For centuries, Japanese artisans have repaired broken ceramics with lacquer dusted in gold, transforming fractures into something. Rooted in the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, the art of gold leaf celebrates resilience and the beauty of transformation.


For Craft Beyond Borders, this philosophy finds a new expression in leather.

Through the unique expertise and collaboration of the artisans of Kanazawa, a region renowned for its gold leaf production, Delvaux reinterprets Kintsugi through exceptional Tempête creations.



Gold and platinum leaf trace the seam between the leathers, while D-shaped studs punctuate the line.
The result is less an ornament than a gesture: a tribute to transformation, craftsmanship, and the beauty found in what time leaves behind.


Craft Beyond Borders brings Delvaux's artisans into dialogue with masters across the world. A restless pioneer, the Maison moves across geographies in search of artisanal know-how to interpret through its own language.
