A tale of design, discovery, and poetry.
Delvaux’s latest store at Shanghai Plaza 66 stands as a welcoming cultural gem, reflecting the enduring legacy of la Maison’s nearly 200 years of uninterrupted heritage, design and wit.

Conceived as a creative bridge between la Maison and China, the new boutique encourages a dialogue with visitors who are invited on a journey of discovery through exceptional designs with meaningful encounters and moments of intimate surprise amidst a thoughtfully curated space.

Culture, Poetry and that Delvaux Twist
Designed around two masterpieces of major French designer Hubert le Gall, who plays with subtlety and humour while designing outstanding furniture, the new Plaza 66 store perfectly showcases Delvaux’s enduring fascination with culture and the unexpected. Handpicked by CEO Jean-Marc Loubier these works perfectly evokes a mix of lightness, Delvaux’s heritage, and its take of Chinese culture.
Placide le Lapin Câlin (Placid, the cuddly bunny) delights guests with subtle charm and playful elegance. Inspired by the rabbit – a cherished symbol in both Chinese mythology and Belgian literature, the sculptural armchairs embody Delvaux’s joyful dialogue between cultures, where humour and creativity coexist effortlessly.

“This boutique is a long-lasting moment mixing design, poetry, warm relationship and surprise. Here the unexpected is a tale around symbolic elements which define qualitative and rare cultural hints with a twist, and an encounter of Delvaux with Shanghai in China for a rare, pleasant shopping stroll,” says Jean-Marc Loubier.
