Craft Beyond Borders was conceived as an ongoing dialogue, a conversation carried through materials, gestures, and generations of savoir-faire.
Edition 02 takes place at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice.

Held on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Homo Faber is a biennial exhibition celebrating contemporary craftsmanship in all its forms. Master artisans, designers, and makers from around the world gather to showcase rare skills passed down through generations, connecting centuries-old heritage with modern design and innovation. At its heart, Homo Faber is a tribute to the human hand, and to the patience, precision, and creativity it takes to shape something truly exceptional.
For this edition, Delvaux is presenting a special installation built around a collaboration with Catherine Romand, a master basket-weaver based in the Loire Valley, France. Visitors can watch her work live, weaving baskets by hand at a dedicated artisan table.

Catherine Romand & le Pin Mini Bucket Osier
Catherine Romand and her workshop are known for their expertise in a traditional French craft called osier weaving - a way of weaving with willow branches to create baskets. Together with Delvaux, she helped create a new version of one of la Maison's emblematic bags, le Pin Mini Bucket, made using this same hand-weaving technique. The result blends Delvaux's leather craftsmanship with this rare, centuries-old weaving tradition.
